Mountain Life and chopping wood….

A hint of fall is on the wind, and in the tinge of flames setting our mountainside alight. I’m only slowing for a moment to heed this turn of the wheel for a moment, but mostly to prolong and relive the joy this summer brought the collective consciousness and particularly myself. I finally have my studio remodeled, up and running. My art shows in the west, especially Park City and Jackson Hole HAPPENNING and creativity flowing. I’m joy-filled in my new life off the grid in the wilderness with my Husband and bonus kids. The chickens are growing (eggs any day now!) and my garden is thriving. Digging my way out of a 2 year transition without work or work space, and I am finally hitting a groove, a rhythm a life in tune with the nature and reality around me. I’m focusing on abundance and enough, rather then scarcity and lack, I have a partner on the same page, with the same passion and work ethic for this life we both love. I feel like my whole life I experienced, experimented, learning what I want and don’t want, what works and doesn’t work, and now is the harvest of what has been sewn. I’m grateful for the love, the lessons and the people who touch my life and continue to stimulate and amaze me. What’s next? In Living and Dyeing, I see So Call and Houston in my near future. As far as the big picture, I’ve Arrived at my destination, and now it’s time to “chop wood and carry water” off the grid of course! I wouldn’t have it any other way and with any other partner. Thank you Matthew, my family, friends and clients for supporting and validation with my art. This bright light has more to shine….
